Antique Dragonfly Brooch — Art Deco Era (Circa 1920s–1930s)

Striking antique dragonfly brooch dating to the early 20th century (circa 1920s–1930s), crafted in brass-tone metal with mixed rhinestone embellishment. The dragonfly features elongated, pavé-set wings accented with clear rhinestones, a faceted amethyst-purple head, & vivid emerald-green crystal eyes. The segmented body is set with deep red faceted stones, giving the piece dramatic color contrast & strong visual impact.

The sculptural wings & wire-worked legs are characteristic of Art Deco insect jewelry, with lingering Art Nouveau naturalism in the form. The brooch retains its original long pin stem & early clasp construction, consistent with the period.

Good antique condition. 3 small stones are missing, and minor wear is consistent with a piece over 90 years old.
